| Glaciers are hard to understand when you're from Texas. I mean, we don't really have snow covered mountains or a climate that allows the higher elevations we do have to remain frozen year round. Check out these two youtube clips on glaciers. One is a National Geographic Short. The other is someone's home-video. Both of them will help students understand the enormous power behind glaciers that helps them shape our Earth's land. |

What is biomass? All of the instruments in band require vibration to make sound, especually (that might be spelled wrong) in percussion, so for you students who want to be in band make sure you understand vibrations and sound energy. If you don't, ask Mr. Grizzelle.
